Another Walmart is getting a major overhaul, this one the Neighborhood Market in the Intracoastal West area of Jacksonville.

City building officials approved the permits this month for the remodeling project at 1650 S. San Pablo Road.

The grocery store is smaller than a normal Walmart Supercenter and is specifically designed to serve the immediate surrounding neighborhood. There’s a Walmart Supercenter about 2 miles west of the grocery store on Atlantic Boulevard.
